The FAST Mini enables cost-effective biobased supply chains for producers who want to transition from fossil to renewable inputs, thereby overcoming the challenges of high costs of traditional fermentation.The FAST Mini ISPR device* is a 3 L glass autoclavable fermenter that is connected to the Livit Flex controller. This system combines continuous fermentation, continuous liquid-liquid extraction, continuous phase separation and extractant removal in a single device. Internal liquid exchange and control allow for uncoupling of the aqueous and organic mass balances.
