DAB.bio joins the Ginkgo Technology Network to advance cost-effective biomanufacturing processes

Delft, May 2024 – DAB.bio today announced that it has entered into an agreement with Ginkgo Bioworks (NYSE: DNA), which is building the leading platform for cell programming and biosecurity, to join the Ginkgo Technology Network. DAB.bio’s patented FAST™ (Fermentation Accelerated by Separation Technology) platform technology will now be integrated into the Ginkgo Technology Network, marking a significant milestone in advancing cost-effective biomanufacturing processes for biologicals.

The Ginkgo Technology Network connects partners with expertise in AI, genetic medicines, biologics, and manufacturing. Through this alliance, Ginkgo expands its capacity to offer clients an expanded array of state-of-the-art, integrated solutions, leveraging its automated biofoundry capabilities.

DAB.bio brings its FAST™ platform technology to the network, to enable the cost-effective production of biologicals at scale. Its patented FAST™ technology combines continuous extractive fermentation with downstream processing, promising to break the cost barriers associated with biomanufacturing. By harnessing the power of FAST™, DAB.bio aims to revolutionize the landscape of biomanufacturing and enhance the Ginkgo Technology Network.
